Carlos Cuéllar deal confirmed
By: j | August 11th, 2008As reported, the Carlos Cuéllar deal to Aston Villa has been confirmed. The deal is said to worth £7.8m to the Rangers and will be used to partially off-set the difference in lost revenue from the Champions League qualifying collapse. Rangers fans should not expect this money to be re-invested and in-fact, there are strong rumours that the raid will continue as Newcastle is putting together a bid for Allan McGregor.

Ouch. But it’s good news for the Bhoys.

There’s obviously been some strong call from fans for Murray to leave, but is there a realistic chance of this happening you think?

To replace Cuellar, Celtic would be happy to sell you Bobo Balde in the central defense for a few quid…
And we’ll throw in Graveson for free.

Rex, I believe that Bobo is available on a free as we’ve released him…with the money from the kenny miller deal and all the champions league cash we’re getting, let’s not be greedy and ask for MORE money from Rangers….
