Carlos Cuéllar to Aston Villa?

This is just coming-in and I’m waiting for confirmation but word on the street is Carlos Cuéllar is headed to Aston Villa for £7.8m. This is a massive loss to the Rangers and the SPL itself but part of the fall-out from the Champions League qualifying debacle.

I will update as further details are made available.

  Villa’s site has it up but it says Cuellar needs to sign the deal.

  yes, that’s why this isn’t like the last of the deals. I’m surprised they didn’t try to move a number of other players, not the top player.
