FBK Kaunas at the half

By: j | August 5th, 2008

The Rangers FBK Kaunas match is even at one at the half. In a rainy Lithuanian night, the Rangers attack hasn’t been as problematic to the host club as you’d like but at the thirty-second minute, they took the lead on a goal by Kevin Thomson that was set-up by the hard work of Nacho Novo. With the home squad needing now two goals to advance, Kaunas started to push forward and created numerous chances. Ledesma came very close to scoring on a long swirling free kick at the thirty-eighth minute that appeared to be misplayed by Allan McGregor. However at the forty-third minute Nerijus Radžius scored on a free-kick to the upper left corner to bring the match even.

Second half to begin shortly. Rangers must attack and cannot sit back.
