Kevin Thomson out for the year

The victory against Kilmarnock came with a heavy cost for the Rangers as the club revealed midfielder Kevin Thomson will be out for the balance of the season after suffering a knee injury. While MRI tests have yet to confirm, it is suspected that he torn his ACL and require roughly eight-plus months to recover.

  Not the way we wanted to solve the problem of where to fit Bazza now. As long as everyone else stays healthy they should be about even trading Thompson for Fergie but it would have been nice to have the strength in depth.
