The gap's back down to five points and selling the league's top scorer (even if some never cease to question his abilty/work rate and so on) would seem to be close to surrender in the title race to me. With Cousin already gone earlier in the year it would leave us extremely thin up top. I know Smith wants to thin the squad a bit but selling players we actually need instead of the dross just doesn't make sense..
