Chris – I seriously appreciate you dropping by, regardless of who you cheer for. As I said, Scottish Football is some of the best in the world but more importantly played by some of best guys you’d ever meet. People might not capture that from the television screen but its a straight-up fact and you won’t find the prawn sandwich crowd here. And I’ll also tell you that I’m doing this blog not simply for the Rangers but to give people some insight into the SPL. I’m going to increase my weekly review to include more on the opponents truthfully because they deserve it.

J – thanks for having me. You might be dismayed to know I’m a Bhoy, but I’m also a fan of Scottish football in general. You, Matt, and myself will have plenty to discuss over the course of the season.

Falkirk came on strong just before the split last year and almost got in the top half. Could be a tough away trip, especially after Tuesday’s events, for the ‘gers.

Chris – first off, thanks for joining me. I know this might date me but the young men playing in all of the Scottish leagues are some of the best in the world and often exemplify the best parts of the game. I’m please to do this blog not simply to tell people of the Rangers but to tell them about all of fine young men playing Football in Scotland. So do you have a favourite club?

I like the closing commentary, J. It’s customary to knock the SPL for being weak competitively, but there is no league I follow more closely, and I look forward to your future scouting reports on all SPL opponents.
